Keith Williams was born in the city of New Rochelle and grew up in Mount Vernon, New York. He spends most of his time drawing and writing stories. Creating fanciful characters is simply what he loves to do. Whether it’s animals, people, monsters or aliens—nothing beats turning a blank piece of paper into art. He also likes to paint from time to time, watercolor has always been a favorite of his. Keith began selling his character designs online on t-shirts, mugs,  greeting cards, posters, etc. Oh, this is more than just a hobby for him, he lives and breath creating characters.

As a kid, he grew up reading comic books, comic strips and the occasional picture book or two. Let alone watching Saturday morning cartoons. This is where the spark was born within him to start designing his own characters. A self-taught artist, Keith stumbled into cartooning and now, it's a passion that can't be stopped. The first was a yellow fanciful character named Ferald. He was an upbeat and unruly ferret with a thirst for adventure. Keith gave him a few friends to play with a cute nuisance named Pozzum, a whippoorwill named Birzy, Kingston a lion cub and an elderly anaconda named Mr. Wiggly. Ferald even has a villain named Meany.

In case you're wondering, why a ferret character and not a cat or dog? Keith feels that a ferret behaves more like a combination of both a cat and a dog--with the characteristics of a curious child. They do indeed make the perfect animal to turn into a character.
